SOUTH PACIFIC from the book by James Michener with words and music by Rogers and Hammerstein Our story takes place at the peak of the Second World War in the South Pacific. Emil de Becque, a widowed French planter, trapped on the islands, has become very attracted to an American Naval Nurse Nellie Forbush. We present "The Twin Soliloquie", "Now I Am Alone", "Cockeyed Optimist", and "Some Enchanted Evening".
